Well with all of the sports on television today ( Raiders, Nascar and the World Series - Mike was glued to the TV).
So I decided to go shoot some pictures at the San Jose Train station . This is a spot I have been thinking about shooting for a while now and would definitely go back to spend more time shooting the details.
It was opened in 1935 , and you can see by some of the paint schemes it still has a very "old time charm ". The depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its Italian Renaissance Revival style architectural and historical significance.
I loved the lighting in some of the tunnels to the trains as well as the huge American flag and lighting in the main waiting room .
I rode the commuter train from this station to Palo Alto about 30 years ago on a daily basis and forgot how cool it is !
